Quality – Control of castings

When the quality assurance system of SZEGEDMET was established, the highest customer satisfaction was the leading principle. Each casting (100%) has to be checked visually.

The following checks and tests can be made according to the request of the customer:

• dimensional control with 3D machine (CMM) and profil projector
• chemical analysis with spectrometer
• hardness test
• magnetic and penetration crack test
• tensile test
• X-ray test (external)
